Reflection over 2013-2014

I know this is late and probably should have been posted in the begining of the school year, but oh well here it is now.
2013-2014 was full of different events going on.
In the first semester there was work to catch up on as we were two weeks late, but it was fine. Also within the first semester there was cross culture (a youth group in cambodia), which had a camp roughly around this time last year. The camp was so fun and just so refreshing!
Then there came formal! I was so blessed to go, since I didn't have enough money to pay, be beloved friends bought me a ticket and my parents were gracious enough to buy me a dress and shoes. But like my friends pitched in and kept it a secret for awhile but anyways can't complain, such a fun formal! Then camp which was really a great time to bond within our class. Next there was mock exams, that was stressful, but it taught me to be organized and everything before the exams in two years time. After that the actual exams and technically the last couple of months of the school year were done for us. Then the end of the year events, swim carnival, talent show, and then the graduation ceremony. If I had to pick the top 3 events it would have to be formal, cross culture, and the graduation ceremony.
Why? well here

  1. Cross Culture because well it was a refreshing time for me. It was the time for me to get my space, think, but also have fun!
  2. Formal because well I spent it with my friends, and without them I wouldn't have gone. Also I slow danced for the first time, that was fun!
  3. Graduation because it was just a bittersweet time saying goodbye to people I just got to know and many teachers and students leaving. Also I was honored to receive the servant leadership award. And surprsingly the sports award for year 11 (Junior). That came as a shock to lots of people! lol!
So those were the highlights, as well as making new friends.
It's now another year, another opportunity to serve God.
